Associate Dean & Assistant Professor
Dr Ananya Das, Assistant Professor, is also the Associate Dean of Department of Sociology, School of Liberal Studies, KIIT, Deemed to be University. She has completed her MA, MPhil and PhD in Sociology from the Centre for the Study of Social Systems (CSSS), Jawaharlal Nehru University. She has been awarded UGC-NET-JRF for pursuing her Mphil and PhD. The topper of her batch of BA from SCS (A) college, Dr. Das has attended numerous conferences. She also has publications in magazines, journals and newspapers. She has also received government grants for research project from Department of Justice, Ministry of Law. Her areas of interests include Sociology of Religion, Sociology of Education, Sociology of Literature, and Popular Culture. She has taught at Jesus and Mary College, University of Delhi.
