Dr. Farsana KP

Assistant Professor

Dr. Farsana KP is an Assistant Professor (I) in Sociology at the School of Liberal Studies, KIIT, Deemed to be University. She has completed her BA in Sociology from Farook College, University of Calicut. She has completed M.A in Sociology from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi; MPhil and PhD in Social Medicine and Community Health from Jawaharlal Nehru University. She has been awarded the Indian Council of Social Science Research Fellowship for pursuing PhD. She has presented research papers at various national and international conferences. She also has publications in national and international Journals. Her areas of interest are sociology of health, religion and gender.
