Dr. Roopa K. L.

Dr. Roopa K. L. holds an M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru University. She completed her undergraduate degree in Law at Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala. In addition, she has earned two postgraduate diplomas in Public Relations and Industrial Relations. She began her professional career as a practicing lawyer at the High Court of Kerala and later transitioned into academia as a faculty member at Al-Ameen College, Kerala. She has held several research positions, including ICSSR Project Fellow at the Vinod Gupta School of Management, IIT Kharagpur; National Digital Library of India, IIT Kharagpur; and Project Fellow at the National University of Educational Planning and Administration (NUEPA), New Delhi. Dr. Roopa has presented papers at numerous national and international conferences and has participated in various academic workshops. Her research articles have been published in Scopus-indexed and UGC CARE-listed journals, as well as in ISBN publications. Her research interests include the Sociology of Law and justice, Labour and Industrial Sociology, Gender and Public policy and Social Anthropology.
