Dr Amanda Cossham
Research Development Leader, Open Polytechnic of New Zealand
Dr Amanda Cossham is the Research Development Leader at Open Polytechnic of New Zealand. She was formerly a Principal Academic Staff Member teaching Library and Information Studies for more than 20 years. She is the regional editor of Global Knowledge, Memory and Communication, and the regional editor, Australasia and South-East Asia, Information Research. She is a member of the editorial advisory boards of Digital Library Perspectives, and IFLA Journal. Currently, she chairsTe Pūkenga Publishing Group, an informal collaboration of publishing units in New Zealand’s institutes of technology and polytechnics sector.
Her research interests include knowledge organisation (cataloguing, classification, taxonomy, folksonomy); continuing professional development especially of information professionals; research ethics, methods, and design; and community archives.

Prof. Md. SharifulIslam
Professor
Prof. Dr. Md. Shariful Islam has been serving in the Department of Information Science and Library Management, University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh since 2000. He was elevated to Professor of the same Department in June 2017. He has more than 24 years of teaching and research experience. He has received bachelor’s degree in 1996 and a master’s degree in 1997 in Library & Information Science from University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. He stood in first class with first position in both the examinations. He received“Agrani Bank Gold Medal”for securing First class with First Place at the master’s Examination inFaculty of Social Science. He completed PhD from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2010. He has attended numerous national and international seminars, published over 50 articles, and examined 60+ PhD theses of Indian universities. He has traveled to Japan, Turkey, and India and is a life member of the Library Association of Bangladesh (LAB). His research interests are on information literacy, information-seeking behavior, social media, digital divide, and rural information services. Dr. W.A. Weerasooriya
Senior Professor, Department of Library and Information Science
University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka
DR. W.A. Weerasooriya is working at present as a Senior Professor in Library and Information Science (LIS), Department of Library and Information Science, University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka. Prof Weerasooriya received the Vice Chancellor's gold-plated medal for his 35 years of continuous service in these three universities in Sri Lanka in 2021. For his credits, he has published many articles in local and foreign journals, presented papers to local and foreign conferences, and served as a reviewer and Chair. He has compiled two handbooks, one in classification policy as a foreign publication and the other in Classification practice as a student handbook. Prof Weerasooriya is a Life Member of the Sri Lanka Library Association and the Sri Lanka Association for the Advancement of Science. He served as the Editor in Chief of the KALYANI Journal of the University of Kelaniya. Prof W.A. Weerasooriya was a member of the University Calendar Committee and Quality Assurance Committee is presently a member of the Faculty Curriculum Development Committee, and served as an advisor to the Faculty Library. 8 scholars have secured their PhD under the supervision of Prof Weerasooriya so far and he serves as a abroad examiner of PhD theses in Indian Universities and more than 40 theses have been examined by him to date. Prof. Weerasooriya has traveled widely for academic and personal purposes and has been invited as a Keynote Speaker, Guest Speaker, Special Guest, and Conference Chair at both national and international conferences and engaged in curriculum development in Master’s degree in Library and Information Science in India.

Dr. B. Ramesh Babu
Former Professor, Department of Library and Information Science
University of Madras
Dr. B. Ramesh Babu was Professor in the Department of Library and Information Science, University of Madras (1990-2012) and former Visiting Professor at the Mahasarakham University, Thailand (2012-2013). He has been awarded Dr. S.R. Ranganathan Memorial Gold Medal from the University of Mysore for the First Rank in M. Lib. Sc., degree. Awarded Commonwealth Fellowship for Post-Doctoral research for the year 1999/2000 and worked on “Web OPACs in the UK Academic Libraries” at the Department of Information Science, Loughborough University, United Kingdom. He has also visited France, Nepal, Muscat, Thailand, Laos, Bangladesh, Germany and South Korea on academic invitation. More than 30 candidates were awarded Ph. D degree under his guidance. He has published more than 470 research papers in Indian and Foreign journals and conference proceedings. He has edited 60 books including conference proceedings and festschrifts. He has organized a number of workshops, seminars and conferences at national and international levels. He is a Resource person in various Distance Education Institutes and prepared course materials for 14 universities including IGNOU and delivered lectures. He has delivered Guest Lectures in a number of Universities and Academic Staff Colleges (Human Resource Development Centres) in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamilnadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Pondicherry, Tripura, Assam and Orissa States. He has served as UGC Visiting Fellow of Sambalpur University (One time) Odisha, Dr. B. R Ambedkar Marathwada University (Four times) Maharastra and Andhra University (Two times) Andhra Pradesh. He served as the member of Board of studies in about twenty universities and member of Board of Examiners in about 40 universities both in India and abroad. He has adjudicated a number of M.Phil and Ph D theses from Indian universities and foreign universities as well such as from Bangladesh, South Africa etc. He is serving as a Member of the Editorial Board for 16 reputed National and International Journals. He has successfully completed 5 major projects at national and international levels including two outstanding projects funded by the Faculty of Informatics, Mahasarakham University, Mahasarakham, Thailand.

Prof. Bhaskar Mukherjee
Department of Library & Information Science, Banaras Hindu University
Dr. Bhaskar Mukherjee, Professor, Department of Library & Information Science, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi has a professional and academic experience of almost three decades.He has published seminal research articles, books, and book chapters in this discipline, prepared course contents for various organizations and has recorded lectures on online platforms. He has also visited few European countries where he delivered his lectures on Open Access Publishing Scenario of India. Academically he is the recipient of Gold Medal Thrice and Raja Rammohun Roy Foundation award for contributing best article in India. He has completed projects with Universal Decimal Classification Consortium, SAARC Documentation Centre, Department of Science and Technology, GoI and presently engaged in developing Library Standards as a member of the International Standard Organization team. His ongoing International Collaborative Research Projects with three countries is an important recent initiative among all.

Prof. K. C. Dash
Adjunct Professor
Prof. Kailash Chandra Dash, presently working as Adjunct Professor in the Dept. of Library & Information Science, Berhampur University. He was the former Head & Chairman, Board of Studies of P.G. Dept. of Library and Information Science., Utkal University, Vani Vihar, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Prior to joining in the Utkal university; he was the Principal & Professor of P.G. College of Library & Information Science under Berhampur university, Odisha. He has more than 35 years of PG Teaching experiences. Besides, he has also served in NASSDOC, PARLIAMENT LIBRARY, State Trading Corporation of India, Library, New Delhi in different capacities. To His Credit, he has successfully Guided 15 PhD 30 M. Phil scholars who have been awarded Ph.D./M.Phil. Degrees. He has so far published 12 books, 108 articles in National and International Journals and Conference Proceedings. He is a distinguished member of various National and International Professional Associations. He is associated with 37 universities in different capacities such as Selection Committee Member, Chairman & Member of Board of Studies, Conducting Board, Examiners and Paper setters.

Dr Sanjay Kumar Singh

Dr.) Sanjay Kumar Singh is presently Professor and Head in the Department of Library and Information Science Gauhati University, Guwahati, Assam. He is associated with the noble job of teaching since July 1997 in Gauhati University. He was a Nodal Officer of UGC-SWAYAM- MOOCS in Gauhati University from January 2020 to March 2024. He was associated with Guwahati Study Centre of IGNOU for 20 years in different capacities viz Academic Councellor, for BLISc and MLISc courses, PIC (Programme-In- Charge of Library and Information Science Programme for 5 years, Assistant Coordinator for more than 10 years. Presently he is PIC of Library and Information Science Programme of Guwahti Study Centre (0469) since July 2022. Professor Singh is a life member of several professional organizations viz IASLIC,IATLIS, ILA,ALA,GLA,SAL,NBT, IDEA etc. He is the regional SOUL Coordinator of INFLIBNET Centre, Gandhinagar, Gujarat for NE Region of India for more than eight years. For INFLIBNET Centre he was promoting the installation, use and application of SOUL along with promotion of E-Resources in the libraries of North East India in general and university & college libraries in particular. Prof. Singh has published more than 75 research papers/articles in national and international journals and proceedings. He has written one book; edited six books and assisted in editing five books on various aspects of Library and Information Science.
