Prof. Achyuta Samanta
“My Loveable KIITians” is a phrase that every graduate from KIIT University dearly remember and the incumbent batch are delighted to hear for first time. Dr Achyuta Samanta is an educationalist, philanthropist, humanitarian, socio-entrepreneur, policymaker and a writer. He is the founder of Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) and Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS), both educational institutions of global repute and recognition. Besides education, Dr Samanta has made contributions in the field of Women Empowerment, Rural Development, Tribal Upliftment, Art, Culture, Literature, Media and Television, Social Work and Spiritualism. Prof. Debashis Bandyopadhyay
Pro-Vice Chancellor
Professor Debashis Bandyopadhyay is the Pro-Vice Chancellor of KIIT Deemed University. Formerly he was the interim Vice Chancellor of Kazi Nazrul University, West Bengal, Director of Ravindra Bhavana, Visva Bharati Santiniketan and Professor of English at Rabindra Bharati University. In his thirty years of teaching and research career he worked as Professor in Banaras Hindu University, Vidyasagar University, West Bengal and Presidency College and University, Kolkata. As a Fulbright Scholar he taught and pursued research in California State University, USA and was engaged in post-doctoral research in St Antony’s College, University of Oxford, UK. He has been an international visiting professor in Mexico and Greece. His research interests include Psychoanalysis and literary and Cultural Texts. He works at length on racial and cultural synergies of globalization.

Prof. (Dr.) Sakshi Kaul
Dean Academics
Prof. Dr. Sakshi Kaul is the Dean Academics, School of Liberal Studies, KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, with over two decades of experience spanning academia, industry, training, and research. She holds a Ph.D. in Positive Psychology from the University of Delhi, along with Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees (Hons.) in Psychology. Committed to lifelong learning, she has further pursued qualifications in Development Studies, Law, Environmental Sciences, Media & Communication, Book Publication, Nutrition & Health Education, Disaster Management, and is a certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner.
An educator, researcher, trainer, and coach, Dr. Kaul has designed and delivered leadership, emotional intelligence, and behavioural development programmes for academic institutions and corporate organizations across India. She played a key role in developing the five-day executive programme, Inspiring Leadership through Emotional Intelligence, for senior naval officers at CELABS, Kochi.
