As part of the CUNY-India Trek, the School of Liberal Studies hosted H. Elizabeth Smith, Professor in the Department of English Language & Literature, and Debra Brooks, CLIP Instructor in the Department of Language Immersion Program. During their two-day visit, they interacted with students and faculty members of the Department and engaged in academic discussions on contemporary approaches to language teaching and learning.
Dr. Smith also conducted a workshop on Composition, focusing on approaches and practices relevant to writing instruction and classroom engagement. The session provided an opportunity for students and teachers to exchange ideas and perspectives on language pedagogy and composition practices. The visit facilitated meaningful academic interaction and contributed to strengthening possibilities for future academic exchange and collaboration between the Department of Humanities and CUNY.
