Junmoni Borgohain

Assistant Professor

Dr. Junmoni Borgohain holds a bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology and a Master’s in Psychology from the University of Delhi. After that, she completed her Master of Science by Research and PhD from IIT Kharagpur. During her Ph.D. tenure, she worked as a project assistant on two government-sponsored projects: Developing happiness scales for Madhya Pradesh and New Town, Kolkata. Her research covers multidisciplinary areas like psycho-musicology, visual arts, and science of happiness. She is extensively trained in qualitative and quantitative research methods and other robust neuropsychological tools like eye tracking, electroencephalogram (EEG), thermal imaging, and polygraph. As an active contributor to her field, she regularly attends national and international conferences and has published multiple book chapters and articles in esteemed journals, disseminating her findings and insights to a broader audience.
