As part of their academic curriculum and in keeping with the spirit of the discipline, Sociology students and faculties, KSFHS, went on a field trip to the Heritage Village of Raghurajpur in Puri, Odisha. The entire village, comprising of over 160 houses, is engaged in the traditional art of pattachitra painting.
The students were enthusiastically involved in deep conversations with the artists. Their senses were fascinated by the colours all around them. Their minds were enriched and sometimes overwhelmed after interactions with the villagers on various facets of their life and their art.
