The Department of Library and Information Science has developed a high level academic curriculum covering all the advanced aspects of library and information technology in compliance with NEP 2020. The students are taught by 7 knowledgeable faculty members headed by Dr. Bijayalaxmi Rautaray, Director Library and Head of the Department of LIS along with renowned professors as guest faculty from different universities, and faculty from the department of computer Engineering and Mathematics. The 82 course credit syllabus is reviewed and appreciated by senior professors of India and abroad. Students of the department are actively engaged in classroom learning, lab classes, group discussions and reading.
