As part of the KSFH Sociology lecture Series, Dr. Nirakara Panda, GPEI-Coordinator, WHO, Mozambique, Africa, was invited for an interactive session with the students on the pertinent topic entitled “Sociology and You”. He spoke on the manifold scope of the discipline, focusing on sociology and its allied subjects’ demand in the non-governmental and other voluntary sector organizations. He answered a lot of queries from the students with regard to national and international organizations, internship opportunities, job prospects and many more. The interaction proved to be extremely motivational and beneficial for the students.
The event ended with Dr. Panda’s felicitation by the director of KSFH, Dr. Jayanta Kumar Parida.
