KIIT School of Liberal Studies (KSLS) organized a Student Induction Programme on July 20, 2026 in Campus 3 Auditorium to mark the commencement of the new academic semester. Addressing the students of the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes of English, Sociology, Psychology, Library and Information Sciences, the Dean (Academics) of KSLS, Prof. (Dr.) Sakshi Kaul, encouraged the students to approach the new semester with enthusiasm and make the most of the interdisciplinary learning environment and opportunities offered by the School. Delivering the keynote address, Honourable Director General, KIIT, Prof. (Dr.) Padmakali Banerjee, FRSA, urged students to strive for academic excellence while fostering integrity, curiosity, and holistic development. She later interacted with representatives of the various student clubs and societies, appreciating their initiatives and encouraging them to actively participate in leadership and co-curricular activities. The programme also featured brief addresses by the Associate Deans of the various departments and the Assistant Controller of Examinations (ACOE), who familiarized students with important academic procedures and departmental expectations. The session concluded on a positive and enthusiastic note, fostering a sense of camaraderie among students from different departments and reinforcing the spirit of collaboration and community that defines KIIT School of Liberal Studies.
