KIIT School of Liberal Studies (KSLS) warmly welcomed its new B.A. and M.A. students through a vibrant two-day School-Level Orientation Programme designed to provide academic insights, institutional familiarisation, and opportunities for meaningful student engagement.

The programme commenced with an inspiring address by Prof. Dr. Sakshi Kaul, Dean Academics, KSLS. This was followed by informative sessions led by the Director, Associate Deans, Programme Coordinators, and representatives from various academic and student-support units, including the Library, Examinations, Student Affairs, International Students, Counselling, Timetable, and Compliance Cell. The sessions familiarised students with the academic environment, institutional facilities, support systems, and opportunities available to them at KSLS.

Day 2 featured an Anti-Ragging Awareness Session, reinforcing the importance of maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus environment. Students were also introduced to the School’s diverse co-curricular clubs by their respective Student Coordinators, offering them opportunities to explore their interests and actively participate in campus life. The day further featured a film screening and a range of interactive engagements that encouraged student participation and interaction.

The programme concluded with an inspiring address by Prof. Dr. Debashis Bandyopadhyay, Senior Director General, KIIT. He encouraged the students to embrace learning with curiosity, openness, and enthusiasm, and to make the most of the new possibilities that their journey at KSLS offers.

The two-day programme marked an engaging and enriching beginning to the students’ academic journey at KSLS, setting the stage for a rewarding experience of learning, exploration, and holistic development.
